A very annoying problem, it happened to me many times per day, I guess 20 times per day is a minimum.
This is the workaround I used to apply: when mouse clicks stop working I switch to the console (ctrl + alt + f1) and then switch back to the graphical view (ctrl + alt + f7). But I found a better workaround that works well for me so far. I noticed there is no issue when touchpad of the laptop is turned off. So I just configured the system to automatically turn off the touchpad when mouse is plugged and turn it on when mouse is plugged out. I run Arch Linux. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1316873 Title: Left mouse button stops working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1316873/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
