Public bug reported: On my fresh Ubuntu 13.10 x64 installation, my ATI XFX Radeon HD5970 runs over 75C when idle. This is obviously unacceptably high and there seems to be insufficient means for adjusting the temperature by adjusting the fan speed. I tried to change card's power method and power
