Maybe i'm wrong but i think everyone who has this freezes is using laptop.
Strange is that if i'm running VM where WinXp is loaded i have no freezes so
far and i'm running it almost half the time.
No offense, but you're wrong. I have a looot of freeze on desktop
computer

Just to help I have the same kernel on servers machines and desktop
machines. But only the desktop machine freeze. So maybe it is a kernel
problem, but releated to graphical environnement

well, as I said, fglrx would not uninstall, but in the end, I re-
installed through synaptics, and for now it seems to work, I have access
to full screen programs again (including streaming video and openarena
game). I have not reinstalled CCC.

At first fglrx did not install, I had to install a symlink to get it.
CCC and fglrx are installed, CCC claims it works fine, but it appears twice in
my system menu, and :

no full screen possible

Just decided to give a try to Ubuntu 10.04 on this Omnibook X3 laptop, and
