I also have this problem on my Dell XPS 13 9343. I have noticed it affecting nemo, nautilus, rhythmbox, and Ubuntu software centre, but not firefox or libreoffice. Perhaps it is a GTK 3+ issue? It seems to be that this only occurs after I wake from a suspend, and perhaps also when I wake from scree
