well, and encounter the bug there. Various people in this thread have
reported it in other WMs. Is there a reason why the solution should not
be, as the title says, that XKB kick its hotkeys on release rather than
press?

Hi. This bug^H^H^H"feature" is now over nine years old. As much as I'd
like to see a proper solution, I think it would really be best at this
point to at *least* add the patch given while we wait for that to

I recently (i.e. several weeks ago) purchased a Lenovo Yoga 710, and I
believe I am experiencing this bug. It almost always seems to be the
up/down keys or (more commonly) pageup/pagedown [note that these keys
are triggered by pressing fn+up/down.]
