[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1827228] [NEW] nVidia-340 driver install failed, black screen upon boot and hanging

HP G60 (old laptop) w/ a Nvidia GF8200M G graphics chip. Also tried download the specific driver from nVidia's web site, file: 340.1070 and 340.1060; and installed them, ALL not working and system hung. Using the X-org driver is fine, but no 3D acceleration. Any idea?? Please help. A
