sorry, bug not resolved through the glasen ppa, but I have narrowed down
when the problem occurs with this driver. As soon as I did a change to
the virtual terminal and back, the problem occured. About 25 lines of
text is written every second to /var/log/Xorg.0.log containing this.:

bug resolved or nonexsistent after upgrading to ppa:glasen/intel-driver
