Since an update to maverick meerkat (today, 8.9.2010), on my Lenovo X300
vertikal and horizontal scrolling no longer works. However, I can set it
(temporarly) with these commands:

I think this is fixed with kernel 2.6.30 (from karmic) - no need to
disable the touchpad any more. Now I can scroll with the middle-button
and the trackpoint.
