Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel I figured out why Firefox scrolls so slowly in Gmail. It happens only when the "chat" or "tasks" window is open. When I close it, the scrolling speed is back to normal. Here is my graphics info: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller:
