For completeness, I encountered this bug in the exact way @azorin mentioned it. Fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 on an MSI GE72 with Nvidia 940M. Trying to run "Extension Manager" from applications would immediately crash. It took some digging to realize it was gnome-shell- extension-manager that was running and crashing, which I had to run through terminal to get any helpful debugging info at all, which led me here via stack exchange. Definitely not a good out of the box user experience; glad to see this was fixed. Thanks @aleasto for the fast turnaround. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to egl-wayland in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2080282 Title: Apps run on the discrete Nvidia GPU by default instead of the Intel integrated GPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/egl-wayland/+bug/2080282/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
