For completeness, I encountered this bug in the exact way @azorin
mentioned it. Fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 on an MSI GE72 with Nvidia
940M. Trying to run "Extension Manager" from applications would
immediately crash. It took some digging to realize it was gnome-shell-
extension-manager that was running and crashing, which I had to run
through terminal to get any helpful debugging info at all, which led me
here via stack exchange. Definitely not a good out of the box user
experience; glad to see this was fixed. Thanks @aleasto for the fast
turnaround.
