frequently shows a strange error:
On some display changes, like after standby, but even when switching VLC
to fullscreen (no mode change!!!) the internal screen fades slowly to a

I can confirm that 1.6.2-1ubuntu1~precise2 doesn't completely fix the
bug on Lenovo T420s.
While I have not seen any random crashes for some time, the touchpad can
still be killed by the test described in #81. After some cycles of
disabling it by hotkey with fingers on and reenabling with fingers
