nature, so it must be some kind of a race condition, but still I have a

Confirmed, that the patch solves problem if "Scale Mouse Pointer" is
checked.
But the complete solution should work even if that check-box is not
checked. What if someone wants to see an original (not scaled) pointer
and still interact with the zoomed and locked desktop.
