thanks a lot i upgraded as you suggested to 2.6.33 kernel and mesa-dri-drivers 7.8 rebooted and the problem is gone i added the packages installed on my machine cause installed some other stuff as updates from ppa and dependencies. thanks again Shani -- drag and drop action causes immediate
