Also happens to me using 12.04 with a QUANTA OpticalTouchScreen in a
dual monitor config using Coordinate Transformation Matrix:
0.584300, 0.00, 0.415700, 0.00, 1.00, 0.00, 0.00,
0.00, 1.00.
The cursor first points in the right place but when you move it then it
jumps
