Rant:How is it possible that 15.10 goes to release with a bug like this,
affecting so many users (yes, the ubuntu releases should be tested on
nvidia and amd moderna cards before release). Yes, I do love Ubuntu, and

Since upgrading 15.04 to 15.10 I sometimes get thrown out of the system to the
login screen via a black screen with "Started run click system level hooks".
This happens randomly when clicking on buttons, like reply in thunderbird,
open attach button here in launchpad etc.
I know, but when I saw many duplicates bugs and noone was solved, so I
though it will be better if I will continue at primary bug report.

For over four years I've been using a GeForce 7300 LE with a FSC P20
monitor at 1600x1200, connected via DVI. The display modelines were
written to xorg.conf back in the day. After hot-switching to a new
monitor which runs at 1680x10
the package problem seems to be fixed, did an apt-get update and xorg was
installed but now i get an segmentation fault, pretty similar to this bug
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/maverick/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/602899).
it happens even if i choose start as failsafe.

I don't really understand from the file what lines are for what monitor, but my
laptop screen (LVDS1) has a resolution of 1280x800 when I don't use my external
(VGA1) monitor. When I plug in my VGA monitor Kubuntu picks a resolution of
1024x768 on both screens. The resolutions I can pick from in
