I have a GeForce 8800GT and I think I have the same problem. The screen cycles and then my monitor says there's no input. I had similar (the same maybe?) issues with the Alpha 6 iso and the Sep 25 nightly iso. I used the ubuntu USB boot disk creator and ran from there. -- LiveCD X Freezes
