I'm having the same problem. System description: -Dell Studio 1555 laptop. -Dual Monitor: laptop LCD and a external monitor (I tried with DVI and with RGB outputs) -Kubuntu 9.10, betas for 10.04. -KDE 4.4.2 (it happens with previous versions) -Kernel: 2.6.31-21-generic-pae #59-Ubuntu SMP Wed Mar 24 08:47:55 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
Using any external mouse or touchpad, the mouse pointer moves correctly from one screen to another, just as it should be. But using the laptop touchpad, the mouse gets trapped on external screen (screen 1). It can move from screen 0 to 1, but it can't jump back to screen 0. Consequently, the mouse pointer can never return to screen 0 if using the touchpad. It do can if using an external mouse. -- Touchpad cursor trapped on screen 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/333732 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
