I noticed that to have 3D accelerated, you had to add monitor section for each
output
try modifying xorg.conf as follow :
in the device section add :
Option monitor-VGA1 vga
Option monitor-LVDS1 lvds
EndSection section add :
and 2 monitor sections :

I have tried evtouch driver with egalax few weeks ago and it was not working.
The most efficient way is to install the egalax driver from here

follow the instructions in the guide. the
finally I have found the origin of the problem, looks like the i915
module can not be loaded , because of a mismatch in the kernel module
loading orders, since it was impossible to get /dev/dri/card0
To solve the problem, I compiled a custom kernel setting agpgart and i915 drm
in the kernel and
I checked again with lucid, for unknown reasons I do not have the
/dev/dri/card0 , and /dev/card0 does not exist too

I have had a working lucid environment until I updated yesterday the

only xserver-xorg+may be libc in order try it , without breaking the
whole system (using apt pins)? downgrading/upgrading completely will
