have been annoyed by this for a while, but #45 fixed it for me, in
particular it seems to be the option
Enable Workarounds -> Force full screen redrews (buffer swap) on repaint
in CCSM. Fixed tearing on the desktop and in OpenGL, didn't notice any
in videos in the first place.

because I believe it wanted some newer version of some x.org files. Care

I own a lenovo x61T tablet PC. It is convenient to be able to rotate the screen
and wacom input, which I do with the popular auto-rotate.py script. This uses
xsetwacom to set the stylus, eraser, and touch input orientations. Era
still persists in lucid
