This is a duplicate of BUG #612816 , i have opened a new ticket because
the situation has changed a bit since apport data was collected for the
original bug.
Now X recovers and actually boots up, i'm also fully updated at this
ti
Some bad news, the crash happened again, but this time its different
because the system recovers and manages to boot up succesfully. Apport
doesnt catch it though so no crash dump.
Is there any addtional information required?

i managed to hibernate from the terminal
I did not get this crash this time, i used to get it 100% of the time,
so this might in fact be fixed

Hello,
I have a problem with my E6400 laptop which i connect to my HP f2105 external
monitor.
I always use 1 monitor at a time.
When i switch from the external HP to the internal Dell monitor the Dell
monitor fails to enable, l
Afaik this bug is still valid.
I have stopped using hibernation because of it, i will test it as soon
as i get a chance to confirm its still there.
