workaround: install kernel 2.6.31-22 from karmic and use this kernel
instead fixes all the problems.

i dont realy think this has something todo with the graphics driver
scince i have a thinkpad r51 with those intel videocard which need a
workaround to function correctly. this bug appears shortly after
upgrading to 10.04.
it does also affect 10.04 kernel which does not have the issue with the
