I still get a blank screen with a text cursor in the top left corner on
my desktop computer. There is no login and no GUI after I install the
nvidia-driver-390. It has 2 GTX 1080 Ti cards. My laptop is working
OK. Can anyone help me or give me some tips on how to troubleshoot
this?

Hi Bryce,
Thanks for getting back to me. I don't think I've been searching the forums
with the right keyword ('hybrid'). Unfortunately, keeping the vaio in 'nvidia
mode' with the switch, doesn't solve the problem. The good thing is that
(until there is a substantial fix) there is a pretty good
