Public bug reported: I have the screensaver set to put the monitor in standby mode, in about an hour. Using the ATI driver works well, using windows works well to do the same thing, but not the default open-source drivers.
to reproduce, use open source drivers with the Hannspree HF259H monitor. When the monitor is supposed to standby or suspend or power off, the monitor crashes instead. It appears to be in suspend, but it's actually crashed, and requires pulling the plug before it works again. To fix the bug, the monitor would go into suspend without crashing. If you like, i can re-test with older versions of the open source driver.
