I suspend my laptop (using menu) the mand wen I turn it back on I get a black screen with the mouse pointer painted white and working sporadically in that when I move my finger on the trackboard and wait a while the mouse pointer jiggles. I switched out to a terminal (C-A-F1) and logged in. I killed xdg- screensaver and I could log in. I have NFI what package I should file this against, too busy to care. So filed against ubuntu-desktop ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: ubuntu-desktop 1.267 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-26.41-generic 3.2.19 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-26-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: wl fglrx ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu8 Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Jul 4 11:30:29 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release amd64 (20120425) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_NZ:en TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_NZ.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ubuntu-meta UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise third-party-packages -- Suspending hangs computer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1020767 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
