Public bug reported:

Since few weeks one time a day out of a sudden the screen turns black. There is
a monitor message that it lost connection and user should verify the connection.
All cables have been verified ok.
Workaround: switch per monitor menu to TV, unplug and replug the keyboard
cable, switch per monitor menu back to PC.

For the moment reported against Xorg although the culprit may be
something else.

[ 42416.615] [mi] These backtraces from mieqEnqueue may point to a culprit
higher up the stack.
[ 42416.615] [mi] mieq is *NOT* the cause. It is a victim.
[ 42419.034] [mi] Increasing EQ size to 512 to prevent dropped events.
[ 42420.088] [mi] EQ processing has resumed after 25 dropped events.
[ 42420.088] [mi] This may be caused my a misbehaving driver monopolizing the
server's resources.
