Public bug reported:
After a few hours of leaving laptop charging with closed lid screen goes
black with pointer still visible(and moving along with the
mouse/trackpad/trackpoint movements). Switching to the
console(Ctrl+Alt+F1) and back(Ctrl+Alt+F7) leaves the background from
last console and shows only the pointer.
Killing(Ctrl+Alt+Backspace) Xserver woks to restore full functionality.
This is consistently reoccuring with:
