Public bug reported: Hi,
The nvidia binary graphics drivers shipped with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS do no support XRandR 1.2/1.3. Consequently it is not possible to create or use display colour management profiles using the "colour" tool, as this tool relies on XRandR 1.2. nvidia released an updated version of the binary graphics driver recently. http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTA5NTY Please can this be back-ported to the LTS release? It's a major problem for people using Ubuntu for creative work otherwise.
