I have this very same bug, so I doubt this is fixed. Is there any way to
revive this?
Happens on my VMs too, and VirtualBox in general after resuming from
suspend.

any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
It affects me but only when coming back from a suspend. Possibly
happens when I click after hitting the Suspend action.

I figured out an easy way to resolve this when it happens.
I had my laptop's touchpad disabled in the BIOS (since I would often
accidentally hit the touchpad while typing). I re-enabled the
touchpad in the BIOS, and now when things get into the state described
above (left mouse button appears
