so, I didn't get a single black screen issue this weekend. On friday I changed

I just installed 3.6rc7, and rebooted.
Once reboot, I closed my laptop lid (configured to not suspend, just blank)
Upon opening the laptop lid, screen had background and mouse pointer, but
screensaver dialog didn't come up
Switched to vt1, killed gnome-screensaver, vt7 still had background and
I get the same stacktrace for compiz too, with 3.6rc7 mainline as well.

Urm, now I see that an ubuntu-devel post, from Didier, says Already
present in precise, but doesn't seem to trigger as often as in quantal.
So I may be wrong about that part. That'd make me less confident
