I installed Xubuntu 13.10 in an Acer Aspire 3000 Series. It uses the SiS 760/M760 chipset. I've been testing the patched driver that was packaged by Daniel Letzeisen for months, and it has been working without any problem. I'm very happy with the result, because I don't need any fancy graphic

Like others I uninstalled xserver-xorg-video-sis to make things work in Saucy. This is a computer for a non well versed Linux user and I am sure I will see the coputer back when some upgrade is done. Please fix. This has to be hurting the Ubuntu and open source reputation. ** Package changed:
