Jérémie, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com

That sounds fine. It might not occur anymore in 12.04 or 13.04. I did
have issues before (and a helpful tip for 13.04 is that you should not
force shut down your computer otherwise Ubuntu will not boot, I learned
that the hard way) with 13.04 though.

I guess logs wouldn't be useful, but if you notice the problem in 12.04
also then you should provide logs.

I forgot to add that the reason why it might not have worked the first
time is because you need to have another package installed to run
apport-collect. You may need to run "sudo apt-get install python-
launchpadlib" before running "apport-collect 1092968"

Jeremie, would you mind opening a terminal and running "apport-collect
1092968"? It will send us some system logs that are very helpful to
developers.

If Jeremie cannot use his computer properly I think someone should
update the importance to High or Critical. I can't change it.

Also, I noticed that this problem doesn't happen with the nouveau

If you want me to do some tests, ask me quickly please. My computer

Actually, I think the importance should be high, because it is
impossible to use the computer anymore, and a "normal" user does not
know how to boot on a different kernel.

Certainly a incompability of xorg with the new kernel 3.5.0-21. But it
is not the only symptom. Once I am logged, I don't have the unity
