Anthony, I have tried the patch, it seems still not resolving the issue.
I seems to me that ACPI event not coming from the kernel, please verify.
And for the video switch hotkey, please attach an extended monitor,
using Fn+F8(may different from platforms) to switch amon extended
mode/internal
Kevin, please see if this patch can fix the backlight hotkey issue.
For video switch hotkey, can you describe how it fails? There is a bug
in unity that video switch hotkey is not working if the hotkey outputs
super+p.
