I have not experienced this issue since updating to 13.10, I apologize for not
updating this report to reflect that.
That said, I will still grab the latest image sometime this weekend just to
confirm that this bug is squashed.

Going to switch the status to Fix Released as it's rather unlikely, in
my mind anyway, that this will affect the current images. Again though,
I will test to confirm this soon.

Zach Brown, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
