updated.
By the way, do you know if anybody is working on developing a reliable
sync mechanism for the ppa build servers to avoid this type of problem
occurring in future? Getting the sync done right should be
straightforward. I've
if not, please do reopen this bug but this is a really common thing with
mesa updates in xorg-edgers

The i386 builds were backed up for 4 hours so there was a period of
uninstallability until they built and published even though amd64
finished earlier, that is a risk that comes with using mesa in a ppa
unfortunately. It's fixed now if you update again because they finally
finished.
