The originally reported "[TTM] Failed to expire sync object before buffer eviction" smell like a kernel issue too, and probably one that's fixed in upstream kernel. They don't show up when I boot into today's kernel.org's 3.11.0-rc7 (commit a8787645e14ce), and are probably fixed by recent drm/nov

still occurs under old kernel 3.8.0-23-generic, but perhaps it's an undiagnosed kernel bug there, showing up with tighter assertions in later drm/nouveau code. There's some drm/nouveau changes in upstream kernel I'll explore, then I'll re-post under kernel when I have fresh logs -- You received
