Seeing xorg freeze under intense CPU usage on quantal (AMD chipset,
radeon drivers, x86_64), relevant part of xorg log below.

NOTE that this appears to be the exact same issue as
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-
drivers/+bug/1077616?comments=all, where it has sat ignored for 8
months.
