Public bug reported: I'm just trying out the beta of Ubuntu Saucy and whilst most of what I see is fine (I use xfce4) the updated intel driver seems to be messed up. I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the kernel proper or with the drivers but it does not seem to like the i915 chipset. It does work but I get the impression that any hardware acceleration (and I accept it is limited; this is an nearly netbook I'm using) is I think simply not available.
