I enabled the Nouveau driver in my Ubuntu 13.10 and started using my
laptop.

After I used it for few minutes (3-4 minutes) the system froze. Only the mouse 
was working. 
After about 1 minute the mouse cursor stopped responding as well, leaving me 
with a 100% frozen laptop. 

I couldn't even switch to a console (Alt + F1) and reboot gracefully. I had to 
do an hard reboot.
The problem arises every time I start my pc, I can only use it for few minutes. 
The mouse cursor is always the last to freeze.
The only way to use my laptop is to enable the Nvidia proprietary drivers.
