Xenophon, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com

This bug still exists along with other issues related to AVRs connected to Ubuntu. I'm afraid that I don't want to risk breakage by using a developmental release. I'll be happy to test matters when a new stable comes out. That said, has there been anything added/modified in the developmental
