I know I shouldn't complain about closed-source proprietary trash, but
perhaps the X server could be a bit more resilient.

Almost every time I activate the webcam in skype (sometimes when someone
else activates it during a call), the whole X server crashes with:

As you can see, the crash occurs within the X binary, although it is
probably triggered by the flgrx driver.
