could you please file a new report by executing the following in a terminal:
ubuntu-bug xorg
Please ensure you have xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes
button for attaching additional debugging
i am having this problem...
I can run a ubuntu-bug when I get home..
here is the info I have now.
display problem 16 petra x86_64 - Radeon HD 8450G
i just bought a lenovo thinkpad edge.
installed Linux Mint 16 Petra .
my display is making strange lines and blinking .. i assume i have a
driver

days.]

Shashwat Sridhar, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
