Paul Gratz, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com

Yes, this bug is still in effect with 13.10 Ubuntu/Kubuntu and the latest
updates. In the next couple days I'll try out the 14.04 live cd and see if it
still has the same behavior and post back here.
