Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce
1. Launch xbmc (I use version 2:12.3~git20131213.0944-frodo-0precise from http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu/) 2. Press \ a few times to toggle fullscreen mode What happens: X segfaults and I'm thrown back to the login screen. (xbmc also segfaults, but I don't care as much about that. It should not be able to bring X down.) Apport failed to attach certain unnamed log files because this is a user account with no privileges (with autologin enabled). I will attach them if you can tell me which ones are important. E.g. dmesg doesn't contain anything about the X segfault (it mentions xbmc-bin segfaulting though), while /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old has a (useless-looking) backtrace.
