In the system you have, it doesn't appear to be switchable - some outputs are only controlled by Intel, some outputs are only controlled by nvidia. If you want to see anything on the panel, you need to enable Intel. As the igfx is also the one used by the BIOS, it is declared the primary GPU and

It has worked until the latest update. It was switchable. Worked like a charm. When I selected Intel, my laptop was super cool, and could run from battery for 7-8-9 hours. When I selected Nvidia, it was hotter, but I could play windows games through wine with high FPS. Now after latest kernel
