I've seen some similar bugreports, but none exactly like this. In my
Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 "Disable touchpad while typing" does not work at all.
I can both move the cursor and click with it while typing. But the
manual way of turning off the touchpad with the Fn key works fine.

Let me know if I can do anything to help the process of tracking down
and fixing this bug in any way (except coding, which I can't).
