I'm using the Xenial. With an openchrome 1:0.3.3+git20160310-1 version the problem persists. In addition to activating an I2CDevices ativa option in xorg.conf (section device) to fix the system hang / freeze problem, black screen, monitor seems to shut down, when trying to start the GUI.
