Put simply, there is no hardware acceleration whatsoever.

OpenGL vendor string: VMware, Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 3.4, 128 bits)

OpenGL shading language version string: 1.30

If I set the resolution above 800 x 600, the screen will begin
displaying a ton of vertical lines and a distorted image.
