Hello,
I found this issue has something to do with the "Enable Switchable Graphics"
option in the BIOS
If Enabled, it will make another graphical controller (Intel) available.
And this issue would happen.
If disabled, there will be only one nVidia video there, and this won't
happen.
Verified on
I can confirm this problem for Ubuntu 14.10 with a radeon card. It might also
be the problem in Lubuntu:
