terminal:
ubuntu-bug xorg
Please ensure you have xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button
for attaching additional debugging

Possibly just a bad card. I see the same freeze and corruption with
fglrx-2:14.201-0ubuntu2. I've swapped out the video card and will see if
it still happens (it's different a hardware configuration, but just in
case).
Is there a way I can close this out ?
