I no longer experience this bug now that I have switched to Ubuntu Gnome
15.04, so I think it best if someone else files a report about this who

I also suffer this problem from 14.04 onwards.
Happens occasionally (maybe once a day on average) and typically after a
reboot... The keyboard setting from the Language Icon in the top right
is set to 'English UK' - there is also an 'English US' option - and
simply re-selecting English UK fixes it
The same problem affected me since I upgraded to 14.04, 14.10 and it
keeps on 15.04, but mine doesn't change while I use it, it changes only
after turn on or restart

activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If

Keyboard layout changes randomly for no reason

Well it keeps on randomly changing, and this means that I might be
writing an email and I am putting in an at symbol, and I put in the at
symbol using the key on my keyboard with the at symbol picture on it.
And my keyboard layout is set so that pressing that key will give me
that at symbol. But 5
What malfunction does this bug cause in practise to you?
